Live coverage of the premiere of the film Beast: Beast, starring Vijay, is now in theatres. Pooja Hegde plays the lead in Beast, which was written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The action movie is set inside a mall where terrorists have kidnapped the shoppers, according to the teaser. Vijay's character Veera Raghavan, unbeknownst to them, is inside the mall and takes it upon himself to combat the terrorists. Vijay was questioned why he doesn't give interviews in his first broadcast interview in a decade with Sun TV. The Sarkar actor stated that he was misunderstood during his last interview, which prevented him from doing any more.
