Vignesh Shivan released a sweet and honest video of himself with his girlfriend and actress Nayanthara on Thursday. Along with the video, he also included a note in which he expressed his gratitude to Nayanthara for her help. "Dear Thangamey and now Kanmani... thank you for being the pillar of support in my life!" Vignesh Shivan began the note. I appreciate the pat on the back you give me.... How much do you care about me??? Every time I've felt hopeless and lost throughout my life! The way you've supported me and helped me make decisions, as well as how much you've been there for me as a companion, all of this makes me and this film whole! For me, you are this film... you are this success!!! My Kanmani, it's all because of you."

 

The film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by Vignesh Shivan, was released today. Vignesh Shivan wrote to Nayanthara, thanking her for allowing him to direct her "To see you shine on screen today... #to re-direct you and bring out the best in you! As a director, it makes me happy:)) working with you is always a great experience! We made a good film, and an equally good character as solid as Kadambari, just as we promised and planned!
