Woman murders her boyfriend and prepares his body parts with rice before serving it to Pakistani labourers.

 

When a group of Pakistani labourers in the United Arab Emirates were served Machboos, a traditional rice and meat meal, they had no idea it contained a strange ingredient: human meat. A Moroccan lady, 30, has admitted to murdering her partner, mincing his remains, and feeding his remnants to construction workers. According to the National newspaper in Abu Dhabi, authorities in Al-Ain emirate said the woman was arrested on suspicion of killing her seven-year-long lover after he revealed his plans to marry another Moroccan woman. According to the Khaleej Times, the woman informed the prosecution that she butchered the victim, who was in his twenties, in retaliation for him dumped her. She "threw the rest of the remains to the dogs in the neighbourhood" after distributing some portions to the workers, according to the report.

Although the murder occurred months ago, the crime was only just discovered when the man's brother went seeking for him at the couple's home and allegedly discovered a human tooth in a blender, according to Gulf News.

"When the accused was challenged about his missing brother, the woman denied any knowledge of his whereabouts and claimed that she kicked them out of their shared living quarters after learning about his wedding plans to another woman," according to the article. A DNA test eventually revealed that the tooth belonged to the man who had gone missing. During questioning, the woman claimed she had assistance from a friend, who assisted her in cleaning the apartment after the incident. According to an Associated Press story, the woman was taken to a hospital for a check-up to see if she has a mental ailment, and she will face trial after the inquiry is concluded.
