Ajith's AK 61 is confirmed by Manju Warrier. View a viral video

Ajith Kumar has begun filming his next film in Hyderabad, following the success of Valimai. H Vinoth is directing the film tentatively titled AK 61. Meanwhile, rumours have been circulating that Manju Warrier has been cast in a pivotal part in the film. The Asuran actress acknowledged her participation in AK 61 in a recent interview.

Manju Warrier debuted in Tamil with Asuran, in which she starred alongside Dhanush. With H Vinoth's AK 61, the Malayalam actress is ready to make her Kollywood comeback.Rumours had been circulating for the previous several days that Manju Warrier had been taken on for a key part. Manju just stated that she is a member of AK 61 and would be joining the shoot soon.

 Ajith Kumar's AK 61 is co-produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios and written and directed by H Vinoth. In Hyderabad, filming is currently underway at a rapid speed. A large set imitating Chennai's Anna Salai has been built in Hyderabad's film city. According to reports, John Kokken and Yogi Babu would play pivotal parts. The cast and crew will be announced in the following weeks by the producers.
