Suriya fans are looking forward to seeing him in a modest but never-before-seen character in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' after seeing him in three blockbuster smashes in a row: 'Soorarai Pottru,' 'Jai Bhim,' and 'Etharkkum Thunidhavan.'
Suriya will reportedly play in the title character of
'Vikram,' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Vijay Sethupahti and Fahadh
Faasil, and will star in his own solo spinoff in 'Vikram 3' in the future.
Meanwhile, Suriya will begin filming his new film, 'Suriya
41,' directed by Bala, in Goa in a few weeks. Suriya is rumoured to be playing
two roles in the film, one of which is a deaf mute. A large section of the film
had already been shot in Kanyakumari and the Indian Ocean.
Bala is considering two powerful titles for 'Suriya 41,' according to reports. 'Vanangaan' and 'Kadalaadi' are claimed to have been shortlisted by the team. Soon, the title that has been officially chosen, as well as the first look poster, will be revealed. The film stars Krithi Shetty as the female lead, while the music is composed by GVP.
