Breaking! Before travelling abroad, Simbu gets an update on his father T.Rajendhar's health.

T. Rajendhar, the famed multitalented actor-filmmaker, became ill unexpectedly and is currently being treated in intensive care at a private hospital in Chennai. We also notified you of our preparations to transport him to Singapore for additional treatment due to his critical condition.

 

TR's son Simbu provided an update on his father's present condition a short while ago. The main man stated in Tamil that his father had experienced abrupt chest discomfort and was brought to the hospital (Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Porur). Doctors discovered gastric bleeding and recommended more aggressive treatment.

 

Simbu also stated that his family is taking TR abroad due to his health issue. He further stated that the 67-year-old musician is conscious and that he is confident that he would be in good health in time to greet fans. The 'Maanaadu' star expressed gratitude to fans for their prayers and support.

 

From May 27th onwards, Simbu was committed to take part in the final leg of filming for 'Pathu Thala,' which also stars Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Gautham Menon's film 'Venthu Thanindhadhu Kaadu' is set to be released soon.
