Is this leading lady the first choice for the role of Kathija in Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal?

The triangular rom-com Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, starring Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha, and Nayanthara, was released on April 28th and has received a positive reception from the audience. Despite conflicting reviews, the picture is performing well in theatres.

The audience adored Samantha, who played Kathija in the film, for her bubbliness and naive acting. The actress also released a video thanking her followers for their support and affection.

 

Vignesh Shivan disclosed who was the first option for the position in a recent interview with a top station. When Vignesh Shivan was filming Naanum Rowdy Than starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, he mentioned he was planning to make this film.

 

He also claimed that Trisha was his initial pick, but the project was delayed owing to call sheet complications. Trisha is currently awaiting the release of Manirathnam's epic drama Ponniyin Selvan. On September 30, the first instalment of the film will be released in theatres.
