The versatile actor revealed his role as the antagonist in
the Kamal Haasan starrer while chatting to a top Tamil media outlet. Vijay
Sethupathi remarked that his part in Vikram is one of his favourites since it
depicts a man's darker side. However, the National Award winner clarified that
his part in Vikram is not the same as Bhavani, the villainous character he
played in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Thalapathy Vijay film Master.
Intriguingly, Vijay Sethupathi also stated that he tried his
hardest for the role, which he shares in the film alongside renowned actor
Kamal Haasan and the extremely brilliant Fahadh Faasil. The actor, who is
ecstatic about Vikram, also expressed his delight at the film's huge theatrical
release. Vijay Sethupathi confessed that he has always been a major fan of
Kamal Haasan, and that working with him on Vikram is a huge opportunity for
him.
As previously reported, the high-octane fight scene between
Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi is touted to be the film's main feature. The
team spent roughly 15 days filming this sequence because it required a lot of
rewriting and reshooting. Vikram, which is now the most-anticipated upcoming
movie in the Tamil cinema business, has received a huge boost thanks to this
major update. The film will be released on June 3, 2022, and is produced by
Kamal Haasan's home banner Raaj Kamal Films International.
