Kamal Haasan's new film, 'Vikram,' opens tomorrow, June 3rd,
and early reports from around the world suggest it will be one of the year's
biggest openings for an Indian film. Lokesh Kanagaraj directs the high-octane
action thriller, which stars Vijay Sethupath and Fahaadh Faasil as parallel
leads, with Suriya appearing in a key role.
Anirudh, the film's music director and currently the most
sought after composer, praised the film highly during the promotional event for
the Telugu version of 'Vikram' in Hyderabad. He claimed that he never gets
emotional, but when he saw Kamal's outstanding performance in the film, he
cried and told Lokesh Kanagaraj. about it.
On stage, Anirudh expressed his admiration for Kamal Haasan
and expressed his hope that he did the film justice. Anirudh is also composing
for Kamal Haasan's long-awaited sequel to 'Indian,' directed by Shankar, which
is set to begin filming in a few months.
