Here's why Kamal Haasan gave director Lokesh Kanagaraj a Lexus car.

Vikram, starring Kamal Hassan, has surpassed the Rs 100-crore mark just three days after its release. It earned a total of 58 crores on its first day of release and is still doing extremely well at the box office, with over 175 crores earned in India alone.

Extremely pleased with the film's success, the actor-turned-politician went on to present the film's director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, with a brand new Lexus. The price of the luxury car ranges from Rs 60 lakh to Rs 2.5 crore. Images of the same have sparked a flurry of positive responses on social media.

 

Lokesh Kanagaraj wrote and directed Vikram, a high-octane action thriller. Raaj Kamal Films Productions has produced the film on a large scale. Suriya makes a cameo appearance in the film, in addition to the main cast. In supporting roles, Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Vasanthi, and Santhana Bharathi appeared. Vikram's music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
